Bathrooms

It will be great two have two bathrooms. There is one in the hall and one off the master bedroom. Both bathrooms work and have no major problems. So we were planning on just getting them painted and fixed up for us to move in. Later in like a few years we will redo the bathrooms.

Before: Master Bathroom: (Sorry the pictures are sideways)

The toilet. Why would anyone want a wood color toilet seat? It just not what you would expect to see. So we will be replacing the toilet. The flooring is still in there from the 70s. I just don't understand why people will make a seam with the flooring directly underneat the toilet.

The shower is very small, dirty, and short. Spent hours getting all the dirt and grime off the shower. We will be removing the shower door. It does not work. We also removed the shower thingy because we both do not like and plus they placed it in a bad location. We will be putting in a shower curtain with bears continuing with the outdoor theme of the bedroom.

The wallpaper must go along with this mirror. The other bathroom has a huge mirror and there is not point to having two mirrors to keep clean. Cannot really see the cabinets but they are a very dark and dirty and ugly brown. Spent many hours sanding the cabinets. They were primed and repainted a light beige color.

Removed the first layer of wall paper, and found a second layer. They both were ugly paper. Glad to get rid of the paper.

Because we removed the paper, we had to texture the wall. So this bathroom was put on hold till we could get the other two wall paper walls ready for texture. Here is the light fixture that I put up. Will post more pictures of the master bathroom. I just need to take some of it completed.

The hall bathroom:

Blue must have been a popular color. Almost everything in this bathroom at one point in time was a different side of blue. Granted, I do like blue, but sometimes there is just too much blue. We have a blue tub

A blue countertop and a blue sink. I actually like the color of the counter top. We were going to switch out the sinks in the two bathrooms. Put the blue in the master, but the sink was beginning to rust. So we replaced it with a white sink. The piping under the sink was horrible. I replaced the sink and the pipes. The P-trap just fell apart in my hands. We also gave away this lights.

The toilet. Nothing wrong with the toilet. Will just replace the toilet seat. But this is to show an up close picture of the wall paper that we will be removing.

Just like the other bathroom, once we removed the wall paper, we found another layer of wall paper. Another blue in the bathroom. I don't have the picture of where were removed some of the bathroom fixtures that revealed a bright blue paint underneath the white. But that is just way to much blue.

I don't have any finished pictures of this bathroom either. Will be taking some so I can post them.
